Pioneer Pet Stainless Steel Fountain Raindrop Review.

For cat owners who prioritize hygiene above all else, the Pioneer Pet Raindrop delivers with its fully stainless steel, dishwasher-safe construction. It’s simple, durable, and easy to clean — making it a reliable long-term choice. It is currently listed at 59.99$ at Amazon

Cat drinking water

Specs:

Capacity: 60 oz
Material: Stainless steel
Filtration: Charcoal filter (no foam pre-filter)
Made in: China

The Pioneer Pet Raindrop features two drinking areas: a freshly aerated pool and a bubbling river section. The carbon filter and pump are integrated into a single compact unit that sits on the floor of the fountain, held in place with suction cups. This design makes assembly very straightforward and is one of the most streamlined setups on the list.

Being fully stainless steel, it’s dishwasher safe and doesn’t collect bacteria the way plastic can. If the power goes out, the bowl still contains water for cats to drink. The fountain is also one of the most compact options at 60 ounces — enough for one cat, but a 96-ounce version is also available.
One notable downside: the fountain showed smudges and fingerprints on its high-gloss surface after just hours of use, and it lacks an adjustable flow control.

What We Liked:

  • Dishwasher safe, fully stainless steel
  • Easy to assemble with an integrated filter/pump unit
  • Carbon filter keeps water tasting and smelling fresh
  • Water remains accessible in the bowl during power outages

What We Didn’t Like:

  • High-gloss surface shows dirt and smudges quickly
  • No pre-filter, meaning debris reaches the carbon filter faster
  • No adjustable flow control
  • No isolated pump system
  • Small capacity (60 oz) limits suitability for multi-cat homes

Woof Woof. (Don’t miss these tips!)
